Finished the Cherry Cabinet

I started working on this cherry cabinet, using it as a prototype for a project students in my adult education class would each make. Once I got all the kinks worked out and all the sizes finalized it fell onto the backburner while the class was going on. I spent the last few days finishing up some of the detail work, adding the ship-lapped back pieces and applying the hard wax - oil finish. I always enjoy watching the cherry come to life as the finish is applied. It is one of those woods that is kind of drab in its natural state, but really shines once the oil hits it.
